Bidders are hereby invited for the NRW Reduction Program via Revenue Enhancement Improvements for Amajuba District Municipality. This project includes the installation/replacement of 50 bulk consumer meters, 12,525 domestic meters and 250 standpipe/borehole meters and other ancillary civil works. Prospective bidders must be registered with CIDB contractor grading of 7CE or higher class of construction works only.The 80/20 preference point system will be applicable as prescribed in Amajuba District Municipality SCM Policy. Bidders will be evaluated in terms of functionality as part of the minimum requirements before evaluated on price based on the following criteria: A bid that scores less than 70 points out of 100 in respect of functionality will be regarded as non-responsive. Bidders are required to submit original tax clearance certificate/ Tax Compliance Status Pin or CSD number and valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates or certified copies thereof together with their bids, to substantiate their B-BBEE rating claims. Failure to submit the proof of B-BBEE Certificate will result in forfeiting B-BBEE points. In terms of Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2011 and SABS approved technical specification number SATS 1286:201x �?? Bidders are requested to complete the declaration form for local content (local production and local content are used interchangeably). The bid validity period is 120 days after the bid closing date.
