SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLE OF OFFICE FURNITURE

Bidders are hereby invited to submit bids for the supply and delivery of SABS approved office furniture at Amajuba District Municipality. The warranty of the office furniture must be at least 24 months.
Bid documents will be made available as from the 26th of April 2012 to the 4th of May 2012 at the SCM Unit of the Amajuba District Municipality upon producing proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of R50.00 per document. Deposits must be made to the Amajuba District Municipality bank account: ABSA Bank Account No. 4053472593 with 88888 as reference. No cash payments will be acceptable at the ADM offices.
NB: This bid will be evaluated in terms of the 80/20 preference point system as prescribed in the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (No 5 of 2000) and for this purpose the enclosed forms must scrutinized, completed and submitted together with your bid.
Bidders are required to submit detailed quotations with specifications, original and valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates or certified copies thereof together with their bids, to substantiate their B-BBEE rating claims. Failure to submit the proof of B-BBEE Certificate will result in forfeiting the points. Documents must be collected before or on the date of the compulsory clarification meeting as no documents will be issued after the day of the site inspection meeting. Failure to attend the compulsory site inspection will lead to disqualification.

CONSTRUCTION OF BUFFALO FLATS WATER SUPPLY SCHEME (PHASE 3)
HILLTOP RESERVOIR, PUMPHOUSE BUILDING AND ±2KM PUMPING MAIN

Bidders are hereby invited for the Construction of Buffalo Flats Water Supply Scheme (Phase 3), Hilltop Reservoir Pumphouse Building and Pumping Main for Amajuba District Municipality. The contract will include the civil and structural work associated with the construction of a 1,7 Mℓ Reinforced Concrete Reservoir, Pumphouse building, 2km of 200 mm dia Lula Steel pumping main,(Pipes will be supplied by the client), pipe fittings, pipe specials and chambers etc. Prospective bidders must be registered with CIDB 6CE or higher class of construction works and must have supervisory staff with requisite level of qualification for supervision and managing Labour Intensive Construction Work. This bid will be evaluated in terms of 90/10 preference point system as prescribed in Amajuba District Municipality Procurement Policy.
NB: Bidders are required to submit original and valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates or certified copies thereof together with their bids, to substantiate their B-BBEE rating claims. Failure to submit the B-BBEE Certificate will result in forfeiting the points

Bid documents will be made available as from the 13th of April 2012 to the 24th of April 2012 at the SCM Unit of the Amajuba District Municipality upon producing proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of R250 per document. Deposits must be made to the Amajuba District Municipality bank account: ABSA Bank Account No. 4053472593 with 11111 as reference. Bidders will be required to produce proof of deposit before the issue of bid document. Cash payments will not be accepted at the Amajuba offices. NB: Bid documents must be reserved in advance from Ms Khethiwe Mthethwa at Amajuba District Municipality on 034-329 7200 before 23 April 2012 at 12h00. Bidders who do not reserve documents before this time will not be allowed to collect documents at the compulsory clarification meeting. Documents must be collected before or on the date of the compulsory clarification meeting as no documents will be issued after the day of the clarification meeting.

A compulsory clarification meeting with the representatives of the employer will be held as follows:
